Loeb takes big lead into shortest day

News Picture
The final day is the shortest with just 68.86km of competition scheduled. This has been further reduced because of a bridge closure at Arigna, which has been shortend to just 10.88km. Drivers leave Sligo at 07.40 for five stages, including a spectacular short test through the streets of Donegal town, before the podium ceremony back in Sligo at 15.10.

The weather forecast is for a reprieve from the heavy rain that has been omnipresent throughout the first two days of the rally. A cold snap is promised but icy conditions are not expected. Some dry weather would be very welcome!
